Atraxa: Phyrexian-Synergy (EDH / Commander) [Revision 20]

A hybrid counters and superfriends deck. If an opponent's deck is heavy planeswalker destruction, you should still be able to crush them with overwhelming force, especially pairing up spark double to clone atraxa to have 2 atraxas, and then the other copy creatures to copy spark double for multiple atraxas or whatever you'd need to overpower your opponent with their own creatures perhaps.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Whenever I find something that slots in better I will make edits.

The reason I removed contagion engine and contagion clasp is because sword of truth and justice does the same thing for cheaper alongside karn's bastion that's essentially a contagion clasp as a land.

As far as graveyard recursion, this deck shouldn't need it and that shouldn't be the focus, although Kaya could eliminate this issue if you can ult her off and keep her on board post ult.

Update 5/23/22; Removed Oblivion Ring, Solidarity of heroes, and Teferi, Who slows the sunset. O ring is nice but isn't "Permanent" Permanent removal and can just get blown up. Solidarity of heroes is great but I feel like it's a win more card, if you're already swinging with a bunch of beefed up creatures. Plus overwhelming stampede does the same thing but better. Teferi, as cool a planeswalker as he is just didn't fit the narrative or use of his ult to get that emblem. Card draw and untap is great but there's other cards that can do that for less cmc. So I added Rhystic Study for more card draw, as foretold for getting things down faster for free, and genesis wave for when you have a lot of mana and just wanna spooge some stuff onto the board and overwhelm your opponents.

Update 3/26/22; Removed Armageddon. Apparently, as awesome of a card as it is, if you're playing casual EDH many people hate this card cause it's super cheese. Replaced it with Farewell for mass removal instead.

Heavily debating slotting oath of nissa in, if you take this deck and make it more planeswalker heavy is definitely recommend this and probably take out Akroma's Memorial since you'd be going from creature/planeswalker hybrid to just planeswalker.

I don't run fetch lands because it kinda defeats the purpose of just having the land on deck ? *idk maybe there's advantages such as library shuffle but imo, extra card draw>scry>shuffle
