Budget G/W Sigarda Voltron (EDH / Commander)

Like all Voltron decks, this deck seeks to buff up our commander and win by dealing 21 or more commander damage.

As a Voltron Commander, Sigarda, Host of Herons is mostly set on 2 different fronts. First is evasion. Her flying clause means that we need less forms of evasion than normal. Her hexproof and anti sacrifice abilities mean that she will only die by board wipes. The only thing that Sigarda lacks is raw power that someone like Uril, The Miststalker has. This means that our auras will be focused on avoiding board wipes, allowing us to avoid flyers, and pumping our commander.

12 of our auras are dedicated to protecting our commander. This is done through Indestructible, Totem Armor, Flickerform, and Gift of Immortality.
The rest of our auras are pump, lifelink, vigilance, or evasion (protection from creatures and trample).

Enduring Ideal provides a near guarantee of victory when cast. It can tutor for Auras and attach them to target creatures by the way. When first cast it is best to tutor for Shield of the Oversoul or Gift of Immortality (don't tutor Flickerform first unless you still have the mana to activate its ability after casting Enduring Ideal). Next tutor should then be Flickerform. Following that, you can tutor for evasion, pump, or removal. Don't tutor for Sigil of the Empty throne because that card says, "Whenever you CAST." Enduring Ideal specifically says, "Put it [the tutored enchantment] onto the battlefield." This will not trigger Sigil of the Empty throne making the card useless.
