Having a hard time choosing between drawing cards and smashing face?

With Tishana you don't have to! This deck consistently has a lot of cards in hand combined with one or more big threats on the board.

Playstyle

The deck combines aggressive onboard play with control and interesting math problems.

Deal frequent damage to players by attacking with large creatures and don't be afraid to deal with those that are starting to become scared. Use your protective spells to keep your threats alive and carefully consider when to deploy (additional) threats to keep them as safe as possible. Once loaded up on cards the fun begins as there is often a line that leads to the elimination of at least one player without leaving you wide open. Consider your cards in hand, sizes of your creatures, and the cards in your deck carefully as you reach the late game to claim that W.

Have fun with drawing cards and having big creatures on the board! And remember decking yourself by drawing too many cards is a win in my book!

The game plan:

1. Ramp and get set up:
2. We are trying to put threats on the board that benefit from us drawing cards and protect them. (Chasm Skulker, Lorescale Coatl, Toothy, Tishana, etc.)
3. We accelerate our card draw that benefits from our big threats (Return of the Wildspeaker, Prime Speaker Zegana, Greater Good, etc)
4. Go in for the kill. By now our hand should be stacked with cards giving us options to push our damage or deploy a combo to win the game by drawing cards (killing yourself by drawing your deck is also a win in our book).

Fun card combinations:

• Greater Good + Ominous Seas: Once Ominous Seas is set up draw your entire deck and finish either with (a slightly boring) Jace or (a much cooler) Ormos.
• Rancor/Garruk's Uprising + Ram Through: You'd be surprised how often this straight up kills people.
• Greater Good + Chasm Skulker + Jolreal: An army of huge, sometimes unblockable, threats is often enough to close out the game.
• Tishana + Return of the Wildspeaker: The instant speed (almost) power doubling can catch people off guard easily.

Suggested tweaks and notes

• Put in your own favorite card draw card! This helps personalize the deck which keeps it exciting if you plan on playing it more often. (The maybe board contains cards that I sometimes put or take out just because I like mixing it up)
• I don't run tutors in order to keep the puzzle of getting to a win interesting for myself and other at the table. You are drawing such quantities of cards that you will often find something you can use. But if you like more consistency this is where I would start.
• The deck does run a number of win more cards that it probably can do without. Ormos, Body of Knowledge and Teferi's Ageless Insight are petcards for me that can probably be cut for more efficient ones.
• Gaea's Cradle is in my personal list but I understand this isn't feasible for everyone. The list works fine without it and there are times I take it out due to the bad taste Cradle can leave others with. I put it in the maybe board for this reason.
