Disclaimer: My playgroup uses an extra restriction when build pEDH decks. The house rule we use is that your commander still need to be legendary.
We decided to use this rule to make deck building more fun via limitations but also to make them playable with lower power EDH decks. This is why only certain
commanders are talked about in the description.
This Pauper EDH deck was an idea I had shortly after trying several other commanders to make a voltron style deck.
The main issues I was running into when building other commanders not being able to do one of three things:
1: Evasion for the commander(s).
2: Consistent growth in power to close games out.
3: Removal for blocker/Problem permanents.
Previously I tried running Reyav as the double strike can get absolutely out of hand. The Reyav deck I built unfortunately didn't do much when when he wasn't on the
board and also relies on having an aura/equipment that gives some sort of evasion. Trying to use Ardenn also proved to be tricky as he doesn't do much with common
equipment/auras and also relies heavily on drawing into evasion.
Enter Keleth and Falthis. Falthis brings evasion with Menace and makes things worse with deathtouch. Keleth then keeps the beats going by growing taller each turn
regardless of auras and equipment being played. Being partners is also handy since we can commit to hitting two players for commander damage rather than one at a time.
