Edge of Tomorrow: Niv, Draw, Repeat

This Niv-Mizzet deck is disruptive with light stax and heavy permission. The strategy is straightforward: get Niv-Mizzet onto the battlefield as quickly as possible and answer game-winning threats and spells while drawing a lot of cards. You will more than likely eventually draw into one of your three Curiosity effects (Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout, which all loop with Niv-Mizzet when you draw a card); but make no mistake, while the deck has combo wins, it is not uncommon to win without a combo. With a plethora of answers and a Commander that begs its controller to cast a lot of spells, we can simultaneously keep the entire board in check, drown our opponents in card advantage, and dig for the combo. There are few feelings that imbue me with as much confidence as sitting down at a table with Niv-Mizzet, knowing that I am likely to have answers for whatever the table might present.
