Fill GY
Reanimator/ETB control for value
once i can reliably reanimate multiple creatures
Give Dane Myriad -> abuse strong ETBs
Theft targets make up my finishers

Gameplan

1: Filter hand to get a myriad creature on board along with a reanimator that would work with it. OR ETB in hand and Myriad in Graveyard. the first big play comes when dane can attack first.

  • looting type GY filly to set this up.

first Dane play is to create a myriad reanimator.

Dane Chains

  • an ETB reanimation starts a chain, the best course is to get another ETB reanimator so we have more options, especially if they still work next turn, if no Reanimation targets are available, then we finish the chain. having 2 ETB reanimators on board allows us more mana next turn to play from hand. reanimation chains end in a) control pieces, b) myraid creatures, c) finishers
  • each Dane Play then, allows us 2 chains, if those threats remain for a turn cycle, then we exponentially accumulate board value over time.
  • a) finishes chain, accrues time
  • b) Myriad + ETB on board are the prerequisites for a Dane play. having these set up this turn essentially ramps us next turn.
  • c) pushes to end the game

Finishers
the way this deck aims to win is through giving any of our targets myriad. it would be stronger with standard reanimator wincons, but nascent metamorph with myriad sounded more fun. this does mean our threats have to survive and there's a lot of moving parts so not much room for protection. but eh

other Recursion must be:

  • hyper efficient
  • cheap way of getting the dane back if he's destroyed
    Moths:
  • moths allow us an extra ETB chain per use.
  • must have at least 1 myriad creature on the board each turn to be able to continue accelerating.

...once deck is smoothly up and running, ad in dungeon subtheme...
