The plan is to ramp fast, survive the first rounds and draw/tutor for the combo pieces. There are many possible combo lines, most revolving around generating infinite mana and drawing the deck through Thrasios until you get the combo pieces.

The criteria for most combo pieces was that the cards were still usable outside the combo. The only exceptions are Isochron Scepter/dramatic reversal and grapeshot (replaced ocasionally by Deadeye Navigator/Agent of Treachery/Peregrine Drake, which is much more expensive to cast but is fun and doable given this deck can generate insane amounts of mana. Deadeye Navigator also combos with Dockside Extorsionist for infinite mana - if you have Thrasios on the battlefield, you can buy all the cards you need and combo for the win)

Seasons Past+Time Warp+Mystical Tutor (infinite turns, infinite damage with Vial on the battlefield)
Sensei’s Divining Top or Thrasios+Basalt Monolith+Rings of Brighthearth (infinite mana + draw library, can draw and play Psychosis Crawler for draw damage and draw and play Elixir for Immortality to keep shuffling your graveyard and library for infinite draw)
