2024-8-17 Wilds of Eldraine draft (Casual)

Casual draft between Albert, Avery, and Chris. We did 3 packs of Wilds of Eldraine and one pack of Mystery Booster.

First pick Agatha's Soul Cauldron and Impact Tremors. Thought this could be a cool token deck.

Very happy I picked up Gingerbrute. Gingerbrute is a lot of fun with Agatha's Soul Cauldron because you can give creatures essentially unblockable. Sadly had to pass a second Gingerbrute for something else.

I almost head into a green or Gruul deck. I had the choice between Ruby, Daring Tracker and Rootrider Faun. It seemed like it would be cool if I could use Agatha's Soul Caudron to give all my tokens a mana ability to help me ramp into expensive spells.

Because my curve is so aggressive, I went with 16 lands.

Lost to Chris 1-2. It was very very close but he had too much removal and tempo cards. I couldn't get my creatures in.

Avery, 2-0. Avery's not very experienced though. Second time playing MtG and first time drafting.

Didn't get a chance to play against Albert.

The Undying Rage came from a Mystery Booster pack. It seemed like a great fit with the aggressive deck and plus the enchantment theme. I didn't have that many bargain cards but I could bargain away Undying Rage and replay it.
