Time to Break the Standard Meta (Massacre Wurm Golgari Control) (Standard)

Strategy:

Everybody and their entire family is playing small creatures in Standard right now. Little rogues, tiny combo pieces for lifegain decks, low defence cards in Mono Red Aggro. Time to beat up the meta by taking advantage of that fact.

1. Get down small ramp pieces like Gilded Goose and Skull Prophet so that we can get to the Massacre Wurm as fast as possible. Also, putting down a Chevill, Bane of Monsters can help get you card draw to find the combo pieces more easily.
2. Hold off aggro decks with defenders resistant to destruction spells like Arasta of the Endless Web while pressuring the opponent with destruction, buffs, and forced discard from the Inscriptions.
3. Pop off some combos! Kaervek, the Spiteful + Clackbridge Troll + Massacre Wurm is an amazing one. In case of emergencies, there is Malakir Rebirth and Bala Ged Recovery, which double as lands in the early game.

Cragplate Baloth will win you the game against a control deck, and if the game goes really long, casting it and the Inscriptions kicked will help deal all the final points of damage. However, I think that the opponent should usually be dead earlier than then due to the AMAZING Clackbridge Troll + Kaervek, the Spiteful combo.
