The deck is an optimized combo deck exploiting its commander as draw engine.

The main goal is assembling combo with Worldgorger Dragon, after putting it in the graveyard with Entomb or Anje Falkenrath.
The combo starts reanimating Worldgorger Dragon with Animate Dead, Dance of the Dead or Necromancy: when it enters the battlefield, Worldgorger Dragon triggers exiling each your permanent including the enchantment attached on it. This implies that Worldgorger Dragon dies reaching the graveyard and your permanents return on battlefield, including the lands, now untapped. Because Animate Dead, Dance of the Dead or Necromancy triggers, target Worldgorger Dragon, but on the stack tap lands in order to produce mana. If you repeat this combo for several times, you continue producing an increasing amount of mana infinitely. When you add the sufficient amount of mana, cast Avacyn's Judgment, Exsanguinate or Torment of Hailfire and win the game dealing a lot of damages.

In order to assemble the combo rapidly, Doomsday is the best solution, in addition to the canonical tutors already played in the deck (Grim Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Scheming Symmetry). Another interesting piece is Bag of Holding, that allows to draw extra cards and save the crucial ones for the combo. You can also find combo pieces exploiting activated ability of Anje Falkenrath: the majority of cards within deck has madness, so it allows to tap commander, discard madness card, untap commander and draw a card repetitively. This is the reason why the deck plays a reduced number of lands and exploits cards such as Dark ritual and Rite of Flame to produce mana. Additionally, madness cards can be easily played with Anje Falkenrath when it is necessary removing a threat or solving a complicate game situation.

Exploiting madness mechanic it is possible to draw entire deck with the combo of Cloudstone Curio and Dockside Extortionist. With the artifact and commander on board, cast Dockside Extortionist in order to create a number of treasure tokens equal to the madness cost of a creature card in your hand and the cost of Dockside Extortionist. Activating ability of Anje Falkenrath, cast the creature in your hand paying madness cost. When it enters the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers and you target Dockside Extortionist. Now, using the remaining two treasure tokens recast Dockside Extortionist and target the creature with madness that is on the battlefield. Repeat the process until you draw entire deck with your commander.

Merchant of the Vale // Haggle is the substituter of Anje Falkenrath when it is not possible to play it. Merchant of the Vale // Haggle has an activated ability equal to that of your commander: the only difference is the activation cost not implying the tap of the creature.

Anyway, although the deck is quite fast and consistent, it is very fragile due to its color pie: it does not allow to play a great number of counters in order to protect the combo. In the deck list only three counters are present (Red Elemental Blast, Pyroblast and Tibalt's Trickery), in addition to Deflecting Swat. It implies that when you are going to win, you have to be able to read the game situation carefully and have at least one-two counters in order to avoid opponents' counters.

PERSONAL CONSIDERATIONS

I avoid playing the combo with Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and Alms of the Vein because I do not play Demonic Consultation nor Tainted Pact. This combo works if your deck and is empty and you are assembling the Worldgorger Dragon combo. Exile entire deck with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact having in your hand Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and Alms of the Vein. When all your permanents enter the battlefield after that Worldgorger Dragon dies, on the stack activate Anje Falkenrath and play Alms of the Vein with madness. Then repeat the play discarding Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre that triggers: you will shuffle your graveyard in to your library including Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre and Alms of the Vein. Then, draw a card. According to the aforementioned Worldgorger Dragon combo, you untap your commander when Worldgorger Dragon leaves the battlefield even if you do not cast any card with madness. In this temporal window, on the stack of reanimator targeting, you activate Anje Falkenrath and draw a card. Because you can repeat this process infinite time, you can also cast Alms of the Vein infinite times dealing infinite damages to your opponents.
