To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Just a cheap and cheerful ~30$ deck that uses vizier of remedies and devoted druid to combo into infinite mana for hydras; specifically Hydra Broodmaster [the following is out of date as of 04/24: genesis hydra, which searches and places down a setessan training for trample] is the deck's turn 4 win condition.
And if the combo doesn't work out you can still spend your green mana ramp on a bunch of +X/+X hydras.
So, of course the deck is expandable with more expensive cards, a suggested selection are in the maybeboard. The first switchout should exchange one fog for a single helix pinnacle; this guarantees a next turn win when searched out with a genesis hydra and pumped with 100 mana. This raises the deck price to ~40$. And you could stop here. Helix pinnacle has shroud and is therfore immune to everything, and will let you win for sure on turn 4
But what if we wanted to win on turn 3?
We can replace all 4 of the hungering hydras with 4x genesis wave and replace a single setessan training with mass hysteria. This will give all your hydras haste... but honestly it is at most 16 monsters. What if your opponent chokes the battlefield with chump blockers?
Exchange one giant growth for one hydra broodmaster, searched out by either a genesis hydra or genesis wave; the broodmaster going monstrous with infinite mana gives infinite +infinite/+infinite hydra tokens (with haste if brought out with a genesis wave because that also places mass hysteria). That is a turn 3 win and it only pumped the cost to ~60$.
But what if they have a moat? Master of or tefiri's?
You would need akroma's memorial to replace mass hysteria, it gives flying, haste, and way more, and is still put out with a genesis hydra or genesis wave... and by itself costs 30$. If you want to protect it from destruction effects you'll need darksteel forge... which is another 22$. You only really need at most one of each, but it will nearly double the running cost of the deck so far to ~112$.
The maybeboard also has some more expensive sideboards to slot in: some or all of the nihil spellbomb sideboard is replaced with grafdigger's cage, because who wants to deal with dredge? But even with an additional seventy two dollars over the base + helix pinnacle cost I can't guarantee your board dosen't get blown up by a wrath of god or whatever and you have to survive untill turn 4 to auto-win with a pumped helix pinnacle.
But all that is for later. Have some fun! And I hope you have a great time with Hydra Ramp.
Edit 04/03/21: so due to a lowering of price, 1 Helix Pinnacle and Hydra Broodmaster were added to the deck. Still ~30$
Edit 04/16/24: replaced hungering hydra with genesis wave. At the time of writing the reprint of genesis wave is 61 cents. Rune of might is strictly better than setessan training, replaced fog with savage summoning, and also removed the giant growths for a play set of stonecoil serpent. Replaced Elixir of Immortality for Gaea's Blessing.
