To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Viewing revision 20. There is a more recent version of this deck.
The main idea behind this deck is to gain more benefit from Echo of Eons and Anvil of Bogardan compared to your opponent.
Both cards combine well with the other cards to provide a situation whereas your opponent can no longer have a hand or draw proper.
Giving you free reign to do what you need to win.
The locks are:
Narset, Parter of Veils or Notion Thief // Anvil of Bogardan disallowing any extra cards to end up in your opponent hands.
Narset, Parter of Veils or Notion Thief // Echo of Eons or Dark Deal to remove your opponents hands.
The combination of both provides the permanent hand lock.
Don't be affraid to mulligan until you can drop a turn 1 Chalice of the Void.
Artifact toolkit from Karn, the great Creator and Emry, Lurker of the Loch.
Emry provides accelerate (draw) and re-using of artifact accelerators (plus Baleful strix can be used until Emry is removed :)).
So far I have had good results mulligans to 5 cards still allow for stable blow out starts with Echo of Eons to redo your entire first hand or Chalice of the Void to prevent a first turn drop from your opponent.
Main difficulties are cards like Thalia, Gaurdian of Thraben (or similair maverick lockers) and Collector Ouphe//Null Rod effects.
Slaughter Pact + the extra Grief can be used to prevent or remove these effects. (next to the standard Force of Will :))
