What was originally intended to be a Tatyova deck ended up being a Yarok ETB/lands deck with an elemental sub-theme. I guess I'm just a sucker for value...
I had a really hard time cutting cards from the pile. Even more so than usual. My original thought was 60 spells and 40 lands, and I ended up on 61/39. My other lands deck runs 42 lands but with Yarok's ETB effect (as well as Panharmonicon) and some good card draw engines, as well as a fair bit of recursion of both ramp and lands, I think it's okay to go lower here.
I tried to go for a decent portion of creature-based ramp and removal, since I'm hoping to get double triggers on as many occasions as possible. I'm sure there are lots of great alternatives I could go for, there.
In deciding to go for the Elemental sub-theme I honestly made things a bit more difficult for myself, in having to cut possibly more powerful cards to prioritize synergy. That said, I stuck most of the cards I cut from the pile in the maybeboard. I might be making some changes after playtesting.
Having elected not to run any of the big, swingy spells I considered - like Villainous Wealth and Finale of Eternity - I guess I'll most likely be looking to grind out a win through sheer value, just staying on theme. That might change.
Of cards I don't have available at the moment, Guardian Project and Splendid Reclamation are like includes when I get them.
All input welcome.
