This is a Jund monsters deck that I have tuned against the metagame of pickup games on Cockatrice.

I have cut mistcutters recently for a couple of reasons, Banishing Light being one of them. I have also swapped out some mainboard threats making game 1 more effective vs control. I also now maindeck 3 Abrupt Decay so the mono U matchup is more favorable, although I haven't played a lot of mono U.

Another is that I have cut my Polukrani down to just 1. I instead play 4 Polis Crusher, 2 Reaper of the Wild and 1 Polukranos for my 4 drop slot. With the arrival of Journey I have found that enchantment hate from Polis Crusher is a very attractive trait to have attached to a 4/4 trampler that can go monstrous. Polis is also better vs UWx control.

Question: most if not all lists I see run 4x polukranos and 4x ghor clan. Ghor clan is understandable, but am I missing something about polukranos? 5/5 is a big deal but no trample, no ETB or haste... and a legend. He gets doom bladed every time and I lose tempo. Very rarely have I successfully wiped a board of 1/1s with his ability.

Chandra is interesting for sure and I may have to try her out in the SB. She would be competing for space with copies of sire of insanity, ruric thar and rakdos's return. I can see she would be more synergistic than xenagos plainswalker. I like my current choices vs burn as well which is rough with the # of shock lands this deck runs.

I agree instant speed removal can be big, vs Obzedat for example. For this reason I SB 2 putrefy.

My favorite additions have been the Polis Crusher for sure and a pair of Underworld Cerberus that function as Stormbreath Dragon #5 and 6. 6/6 body is nice vs aggro. Evasion and a way to hose Supreme Verdict and Elspeth -3 is bonus. Also dodges Lifebane like a champ.
