Karn, the Great Abrador (Modern) [Revisión 77]

This deck wants to destroy the lands of the opponent, eventually locking them if we can get out a Trinisphere and keep them on 2 or less lands. When we get to 6 lands we can get our win-condition out of the sideboard with Karn, the Great Creator and attack with Wurmcoil Engine.

As we need probably a lot of time to get to the point where we can cast Wurmcoil Engine, we have a lot of ways to protect our life total. For targeted removal we have a playset of Lightning Bolt and the -2 of Ajani Vengeant, which basically acts as a Lightning Helix, gaining us three life and offsetting the life loss of our pain land and messing with burn decks.
If the situation gets out of control we have two boardwipes with Day of Judgment. For card draw we have Thrill of Possibility.

For land destruction we play eight generic land destruction spells with Pillage and Stone Rain, each killing a land for three mana. We also run a playset of Karn, the Great Creator, who can get not only several silver bullets out of sideboard, but can also get one of our three Liquimetal Coatings, which turn the opponent's lands into artifacts, which Karn, the Great Creator eventually can kill with his +1, turning them into 0/0 creatures and causing them to die.
A great fit for a land destruction deck is Trinisphere, only making it necessary to keep the opponent at 2 or less lands rather than 0. Thanks for MtGGoldfish showing me this gem.

As we want to begin to destroy the opponent's lands as soon as possible, we run a playset of Pyretic Ritual and Simian Spirit Guide, providing us the needed turn 2 Stone Rain.

Even though we play with quite a high average converted mana cost we only play 23 lands as we have eight fast mana spells. These lands include Battlefield Forge and Clifftop Retreat, providing us a sweet budget boros mana base.

In the sideboard we got our win condition as well as Liquimetal Coating which we need for Karn the Great Creator to function.
In addition to that we play a bunch of silver bullets in the sideboard. Against self mill we have three copies of Tormod's Crypt. If the opponent is milling us and not themselves we have half a playset of Cranial Archive.
If we happen to play against some creature tokens, we have one Ratchet Bomb. As a counter for some superfriends we have two Sorcerous Spyglass. Against burn or infect we are also playing 2 times Spellskite.
I don't think a counter for tron is needed, our land destruction should do the job in that regard.
