Attaching Auras [Revisión 12]

This deck wants to pull of the combo with Academy Researchers and Colossification, making a potenital T3 22/22 threat hopefully resulting in a win. But we probably want to wait until T4 before we play our threat so we can still protect it with Spider Umbra or Autumn's Veil.
If the opponent does play white or black, our threat can easily get Path to Exile d and Fatal Push ed. If the opponent plays blue we may have to be aware of counterspells. So we want to play it safe, which means that a T4 win is improbable.

For auras to get with Academy Researchers we got a playset of Colossification and three copies of Eldrazi Conscription, as it is the second best enchantment for our gameplan. And of course a playset of Academy Researchers is totally needed to make the deck consistent.

As Academy Researchers is the only card with that effect we need to play some tutors to actually play them consistently. Our tutor here is Fauna Shaman, tutoring us a card at turn three, which is good for a tutor in modern. We play that three times, being a wildcard for Academy Researchers.

As a perfect draw is not impossible but unlikely, we play stuff to survive until then, including much much F O G with the playset of Fog and Spore Frog.
To protect our combo we have seven disruption spells with Autumn's Veil and Spider Umbra. Spider Umbra helps blocking flyers and it provides totem armor, protecting them from Fatal Push.
We do not play Veil of Summer which is better than Autumn's Veil but I wanted to keep the list budget so I put in Autumn's Veil as it still does the job.

For mana acceleration and fixing we play Birds of Paradise.

We play 23 lands, as we do not need more than four lands in play to win. We play my normal budget dual color mana base, with the simic pain and checklands Yavimaya Coast and Hinterland Harbor.

We also have three copies of Rancor to stop the opponent from chumpblocking our Academy Researchers if we have a Colossification attached to it.

The deck is pretty budget, costing only 80€ on cardmarket.
