Spitemare's Peeved Pals (PDH) (EDH / Commander)

Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander and the 99 are commons.

This deck runs Spitemare as the commander which functions a lot like Truefire Captain, Brash Taunter or Stuffy Doll.

The main goal of the deck is to combo Spitemare with Guilty Conscience and a source of indestructibility for infinite damage. Other combos are Martyrdom, Gideon's Sacrifice and Valor Made Real to cause some heavy damage if we're attacked. Frilled Deathspitter can substitute Spitemare.

To get to the combo pieces we run about as much ramp as Boros allows, some tutors (Heliod's Pilgrim, Totem-Guide Hartebeest), cycling & looting and a ton of removal to stay alive.

Since we're running part of the Martyrdom combo it's worth considering also running About Face / Solid Footing and Daru Spiritualist / Task Force and Spirit En-Kor / Nomads En-Kor but I decided not to.

Weaknesses of the deck would be flying creatures and wide boards, we run Spidersilk Net and cards like Swirling Sandstorm, Scouring Sands, Rolling Thunder and Fireball to mitigate the matchup but sources of lifelink might be good inclusions. The combo can also fairly easily be disrupted and we only run two sources of aura recursion; Ironclad Slayer and Trusty Retriever. Auramancer is up for consideration.
