Pauper Provisions (PDH) (EDH / Commander)

Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander, and the 99 are commons.

This Jund deck is helmed by Scarland Thrinax, a neat sacrifice outlet that grows as you use it.

To capitalize on this we run a lot of cards like Act of Treason, to steal a creature, deal some damage and then "eat" it for a buff.

We also have two combos that revolve around Ivy Lane Denizen; persist on cards like Rendclaw Trow and Devoted Druid + Presence of Gond. So either a repeatable sacrificed creature or an arbitrary amount of tokens. If we get either of these going we have cards like Ram Through, Rite of Consumption and Soul's Fire to blow opponents up with our commander.

To get there we run the usual ramp, draw and removal. Though because of all the steal spells we don't run any single-target removal.

We also have some utility cards like Night Soil (graveyard hate & chump blockers), Fleetfeather Sandals for haste & evasion and some recursion in case combo pieces are removed.

Weaknesses of the deck are the slight lack of creatures, combos that are easy to disrupt and not very much reach (Spidersilk Armor). Tri-color can have mana issues (you might want more tap duals) but our ramp also mana fixes us and the Thriving lands are pretty nice.

Mostly built for fun with Act of Treason cards but should still perform decently. Have fun!
