Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander and the 99 are commons. Huatli is not a creature and is therefore technically incorrect as a commander, but most groups are willing to bend that rule, make sure to ask!

Huatli, the Sun's Heart has a fairly unique ability that makes creatures deal combat damage based on their toughness rather than their power. We take advantage of this with our plethora of high toughness creatures and several toughness boosting cards.

We have a fairly low curve as we want to hit the board with creatures turn 1, 2 and then have Huatli make them the biggest buds around, either to smack face or make sure Huatli sticks to the board.

Selesnya doesn't have access to a lot of sources of card advantage, so we take what we can get: Monarch from Palace Sentinels, Entourage of Trest and Staunch Throneguard. It's not that unlikely we can keep the crown for a whole turn cycle with our big butts. We also have Lead the Stampede and Winding Way since we run a ton of creatures they're very likely to draw enough. Or if you need lands Winding Way can likely hook you up. Krosan Tusker either cycles for a bit of card advantage or has an ok body later in the game, Citanul Woodreaders has a very relveant body to the deck in general, and can draw cards if kicked.
That is however not a lot so we run some cycling lands to lower the chance of a flood, even though the deck wants to be as active as possible.

The deck's acceleration is mostly dorks with big butts instead of lands from the library as we need as many bodies as possible to keep Huatli on the board & beat down our opponents. The exception is Cultivate, Kodama's Reach & Bonder's Ornament which we can ideally play turn 3 instead of Huatli in case we didn't hit any 1 or 2 drops.

For removal we run the classic Afterlife / Crib Swap, Oblivion Ring, Lignify and Seal of Cleansing. The deck wants to be proactive so we don't run much more than that but there's definitely room for some more.

Later in the game the board can become a bit static so to keep getting damage in we have Whispersilk Cloak, Angelic Gift and trample from Haunted Cloak and Armadillo Cloak. We also have finishers with Bar the Door and Solidarity, Conclave's Blessing can pack a punch as well.

Last but not least I'd like to mention a sweet synergy between Inviolability and Wall of Glare / Palace Guard, if you want to add to that strategy there's Ghostly Possession, Heart of Light, Sandskin and Heliod's Pilgrim to tutor for them, but I haven't included them.

Weaknesses of the deck are above all our reliance on Huatli. There's not a lot of planeswalker-hate in PDH but there's some. And unblockable/flying can be an issue however we run plenty of Reach / Flying. Another issue is card draw, it's very possible to get stuck on too few lands or draw nothing but lands, running some more cycling or subpar card draw could help. With not a lot of trample in the deck I imagine token-based strategies could easily block most of our big butted buds, so that's something to consider.
