Rocco's Allies (PDH) (EDH / Commander)

Pauper EDH is an alternative format that uses any uncommon creature as the commander and the 99 are commons.

This naya deck is brewed around Rocco, Cabaretti Caterer but more precisely Ondu Cleric, Highland Berserker, Akoum Battlesinger, Makindi Patrol and Tajuru Beastmaster. That's right it's Ally Tribal, baby!!

The idea of the deck is to ramp up a bit, throw in some allies (ideally progressive cards like Ondu Cleric, Oran-Rief Survivalist, Graypelt Hunter or Tuktuk Grunts) and then go on the aggressive by tutoring out the board buffers like Highland Berserker, Akoum Battlesinger, Makindi Patrol and Tajuru Beastmaster.

The deck isn't really built to tutor repeatedly with Rocco, you're meant to grab what you need but you can recast him if Rocco dies or you bounce him with cards like Aegis Automaton & Barbarian Guides.

The rest of the deck is mostly some removal, card draw (Winding Way & Lead the Stampede are very likely to find what you need) and some classics like Broken Fall and Spidersilk Armor.

Worth mentioning is that Changelings count as allies and one notable changeling is Masked Vandal. Other notable creatures are Akoum Flameseeker (rummaging), Spawnbinder Mage (tapdown) and Cliffside Lookout.
