Mayhem Devil's Big Sister (PDH) (EDH / Commander)

Pauper EDH is an alternative commander format where any uncommon creature can be your commander and the remaining 99 are commons.

This gruul deck is helmed by Erinis, Gloom Stalker and her background is Street Orphan. This essentially means our CZ has a deathtouch Makeshift Munitions which seems pretty powerful.

All that remains is the fodder, namely our eggs: Experimental Synthesizer, Golden Egg, Ichor Wellspring and so on. Worth noting is that we can sacrifice artifact lands such as Tree of Tales, Great Furnace, Slagwoods Bridge and Darksteel Citadel which Erinis can return to the battlefield by attacking, tutorable with Sojourner's Companion.

The deck also generates sac fodder by making treasures with Goldvein Pick & more, Saprolings with Night Soil, Sprout Swarm & more as well as running some chumps like Elvish Visionary and Impulsive Pilferer, the creatures also serve as protection from edicts.

Destroying any creatures at a very low cost is either going to be very oppressive or attract enough heat to make sure the commander never sticks on the board.
Make sure the deck is power-level appropriate for your playgroup!

To help Erinis stick to the board we run a ton of protection; Avoid Fate, Tamiyo's Safekeeping, Broken Fall, Snake Umbra (can be triggered with Street Orphan), Whispersilk Cloak and so on.

With our removal engine and protection for it we need a clock, PDH's commander damage is at a reasonable 16 and to get us there we run cards like Boots of Speed, Trollhide, Ancestral Mask and Predatory Hunger & more. It's not the quickest but with considerable control there's plenty of time.

After some goldfishing I've noticed that lands frequently fill up the hand as "dead-ends" after playing cantripping eggs, it might be worth exploring ways to loot away the lands (allowing Erinis to put them into play) with cards like Merchant of the Vale or similar cards, Ceremonial Knife has proved useful.

Other notable cards; Gaea's Touch helps with the aforementioned land issue as well as offer an emergency source of mana to cast protection spells, Foundry Inspector lowers the cost of almost a third of the deck and definitely helps string eggs together. Sandstone Needle and Hickory Woodlot enable a T2 Erinis and can later be brought back by her ability, definitely great in the deck. Opal Palace offers some level of inevitability if the commander is removed over and over. Scaretiller is sort of a secondary commander as they share an ability and the deck is built to put lands in the GY.

Weaknesses of the deck would primarily be the overreliance on the commander, counterspells can prevent Erinis from ever hitting the board which slows the deck down considerably. If you're in a meta with a lot of blue, consider adding Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast in from the sideboard. Secondarily it would be strategies that Street Orphan can't target such as Bogles or creature-less combo, edict-heavy decks can also pose a problem.
