So in current Standard two, three or more colors are the biggest decks right now. I wanted something a little more back to basics for FNM, so I put this together.
The goal of the deck is pretty straightforward. Get creatures on the field, and start hitting. My big Win conditions are activating Nylea, Arbor Colossus, or getting big damage through with Aspect of Hydra or Hunter's Prowess.
Clearly, it's pretty similar to the pro-build that's been floating around the net, although I've made a few changes. 19 lands is pretty radical, but with a curve of 2.56 and the ramp, I'm comfortable with it, and it's done fairly well at play testing.
I'm pretty open to removal and control, so the sideboard currently looks like
3 Bramblecrush
1 Arbor Colossus
3 Ranger's Guile
4 Bow of Nylea
4 Mistcutter Hydra
I've gone back and forth on Ranger's Guile vs. Mortal's Resolve. With R/W becoming the next big thing, I think the latter looks better. The bow is in there pretty much to deal with the same. Bramblecrush gives me some options against control, as does Mistcutter.
