To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This is a deck about artifact tokens. It is about cloning your worst most fucked up stuff with Tawnos Solemn Survivor in order to take control over the board.
Since Tawnos can only duplicate tokens, you will want to start the game with pieces that either generate tokens such as Skrel'vs Hive, Thopter Spy Network or Retrofitter Foundry. Those will make you small artifact tokens that tawnos can copy to start filling your graveyard and cluttering the board.
Once you get some good stuff in your graveyard, Tawnos will be able to bring it back as a copy of itself. Be careful with that, because the original will be exiled and if the copy is removed, you are not getting it back. I also included a lot of ways to make token copies directly without the second ability of the commander to avoid that downside, so you can use Extravagant Replication, Mirror Works, Lithoform Engine, or Mechanized Production to generate copies of your favourite artifacts that you will then copy again with Tawnos.
Before you think about tapping out during your turn, it is good to remember only Tawnos's second ability is sorcery speed, which means you can duplicate stuff in answer to actions negatively impacting you. Use that for bargaining if you are being in a weaker position.
I included two altenrate wincons, Mechanized Production which will win you the game if you have enough copies of one artifact, and Mirrodin Besieged, which will win you the game if you have enough artifacts in your graveyard.
But the true alternate wincon, the evil funny one, is to duplicate Lodestone Golem A LOT. Each Lodestone Golem will make your opponent's stuff cost more, and more and more, until finally only you can play. It is a bit vile, since it will not really win you the game, it will force opponents to concede or wait for you to have enough boardstate to kill them. But if you have seen my other decks you KNOW I like that kind of staxxy bullshit.
