Pako+Haldan Casual Control (EDH / Commander)

This is a control deck that has a fast clock to make sure the game doesn't prolong forever.
Play ramp and have enough mana open to protect Pako, the turn you play him. Then try to control the board as best as you can and collect value with Pako along the way. Eventually you can finish off opponents by either making Pako unblockable or by playing spells, which grant you additional combat steps.

Huge update on the deck philosophy. I want more control and less stax, because it concentrates hate on you. Also I have found that cards that give permanently "unblockable" draw also more hate towards you. I want to have Pako as a continuous sort of card advantage and more like an Abyss effect. I don't care if he gets blocked all day. He just needs to get bigger so I can swing for lethal in one turn. For this I have added "You come to a river".

Trying out more double faced cards and cut down some lands. And since I have trimmed 2 lands, I wanted to compensate for that without missing land drops. Therefore I replaced two other lands with bounce lands.

I did try Crucible of Worlds for a bit of mana fixing and reusing fetch lands but it has been a big disappointment thus far. I would rather have another ramp spell. Journey of Discovery sounds promising, especially because I have had great success with Summer Bloom.

I was very disappointed the times I drew Winged Boots, although the flying is great it didn't make up for the fact, that the creature can still be targeted. Therefor it will be replaced with Neurok Stealthsuit for now.
Second thing for today is Reins of Power. I really like the card but I want it as a pseudo pillow fort effect and if you use it that way it's actually quite bad. Also the decks has some redundancy in this effect already with cards like Constant Mists, Aetherize and Aetherspouts. So I cut it for Epiphany at the Drownyard, as another card draw spell. The last thing is You come to a river. The card was underwhelming most of the time and I do want to try out Shark Typhoon in this deck, so it had to go.
