To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
One of my many variations on the Scion of the Ur-Dragon deck, this one is heavy on mass destroy and keeps to a lower budget.
The deck uses green ramp cards to quickly gain both mana and domain (all five colors) and then starts to pound the field with mass-obliteration of everything non-land. Then the goal is to enter the field with the Scion, who easily combos into one-hit kills (moltensteel dragon + dragon tyrant / atarka) or just works as a fantastic grave-filling tutor for the plentiful reanimation spells you have.
The dragons can be separated into 2 categories ; tool dragons (used for Scion's abuse like Nicol Bolas, Dragon Tyrant, Teneb) and proper dragons (just powerful creatures like Utvara, Karrthus, Bladewing) and it's generally bad news when you draw the tool dragons into your hand, but hey, they're still usually of great help.
Heavy control might be an issue for the dragons, but not so much things like counterspells or destroyal - a dragon in a grave is pretty much a dragon in play, as far as this deck is concerned. Even bounce is not much of an issue since with the gigantic green ramp you are bound to be able to cast things twice or more times over. More problematic are creature and graveyard removals, as once Scion spends the arsenal and it vanishes - you're not sitting pretty.
Additionally, there are plenty more things a player can do to add to this deck ; I've added equipment and several other dragons to the maybeboard, like the blight dragon (which works fantastic with Scion) or even stuff like Quicksilver Dragon, though I found QD to be a bit too situational to be good. Another interesting idea is Spellbound and Hypersonic Dragon - Spellbound discards creatures for massive damage boosts and Hypersonic allows your commander to at any time turn all your sorceries into instants, which can allow some pretty interesting plays.
In a multiplayer match it is best to play the deck quietly, fetching lands and whatnots, until you can secure an explosive entry into the battle to fill up your grave and unleash a hasted strike for devastating effects like Nicol Bolas's hand wipe, Hellkite Tyrant's artifact grab and Utvara's dragon token spam.
