Toski's Vengeance - Green (EDH / Commander)

Toski Voltron. If you're attacking with him anyway, why not make him huge? And think how embarassed your opponent will be to get demolished by a squirrel.

The deck is fairly simple: there are some ramp cards, including dorks and sorceries, but there's nothing particularly unique there. There are some protection cards; while Toski is already indestructible, cards like Asceticism, Snakeskin Veil, Vines of Vastwood, and Heroic Intervention protect Toski from targeted removal. While nothing can prevent cards that exile everything, Tajuru Preserver gets around mass or targeted sacrifice effects.

After those, though, come the voltron enablers. They come in two flavours: artifacts and enchantments. These are also subdivided into two categories: cards that give Toski evasion (trample is prominent), and cards that make Toski capable of killing your opponents. The deck is chock-full of ways of beefing up and connecting with Toski, who will draw you a card each turn if you can connect to keep you fueled up with gas.

Some notable favourite cards: Colossification is just hilarious if Toski has hexproof and some sort of evasion, including trample. Grappling Hook and Fireshrieker let you draw TWO cards per turn. The image of Toski with a Colossus Hammer is too good not to mention, as is Toski enchanted with Eldrazi Conscription. Finally, you can safely mutate Sawtusk Demolisher and Gemrazer onto Toski for some additional power and utility.
