This deck is inspired by the the Aikido playstyle where you allow your opponents to do their thing, deter them from attacking you (sometimes forcefully in this deck), appear not too threatening and use their strengths against them to take out your opponents.

I opted to focus more on utilizing flying+deathtouch creatures to deter attacks instead of the Enchantment based effects or creatures that punish for attacking you in some way. Though Brash Taunter is a card that I felt I just needed to include.

For this first iteration I didn't include any real notable combos and was very light with stax effects, though that may change after playtesting it if I need to power up this deck. The key cards that can help with winning me the game are Arcbond, Master of Cruelties, Gisela, Mob Rule, and some well timed damage redirection, punisher effects and mass goad.

Here are some cards that I didn't see in many other Marchesa Aikido lists:
Buried Ruin: I run a small equipment package, with Sunforger included, so I want to recur them if they get removed
Bladed Pinions: This equipment gives out Flying and First Strike, turning any assassin tokens and non-flying death touchers into a very strong rattlesnake
Power Matrix: Plays a similar role to Duelist Heritage but it gives out +1/+1, Flying, First Strike and Trample once per rotation. Can also deter attacks by threatening to activate it on a deathtouch creature
Vengeful Ancestor: I wanted to lean more towards the goading aspect, and this help finish off games with the mass goad cards
Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire: I do not own Demonic and Vampiric Tutor yet due to their price though that can change in the future. It's another deathtouch creature that can tutor me a card if it is able to attack.
