To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This deck is part of my playgroup's budget challenge. The entire deck (including the commander, excluding the basic lands) has to cost less than 50€ (all cards have to be in english and they have to be at least in 'excellent' condition). The other deck I build for this challenge can be found here: https://deckstats.net/decks/92998/1809860-rograkh-the-wolfrider-on-a-bud
This deck contains 2 win conditions. The first one is a rather straight forward selesnya stompy plan. Just grow your threats and turn them sideways. These threats will most likely be: Trelasarra, Moon Dancer, Sunscorch Regent, Ajani's Pridemate, Celestial Unicorn, Soul of Eternity, Voice of the Blessed). I added some ways to give the beaters trample to ensure you are getting your damage through. These ways are: Garruk's Uprising, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Loxodon Warhammer, Blossoming Bogbeast. The other win condition is to leverage your high life total and brute force a win. Aetherflux Reservoir and Felidar Sovereign are both able to close out a game very quickly.
The deck only works as long as you manage to keep your life total going up. It does not really matter if you go low or lose life, but you have to keep gaining life. Otherwise all the engines in this deck just run out of fuel. A total of 33 cards could theoretically give you back some life. However most of your lifegain is dependent on you getting creatures into play. Ant Queen, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Speaker of the Heavens, Dawn of Hope are ways to force those gears to turn again.
Most of your card draw is bound to you getting creatures into play aswell. Beast Whisperer, Leinore, Autumn Sovereign, Mentor of the Meek, Welcoming Vampire do not work without creatures. The latter 3 of those cards also work very well with Ant Queen, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, Dawn of Hope.
While playing this deck you should get your sequencing on point. Otherwise you will lose out on a lot of value. Also please run through some turns with this deck on your own before jumping into games as the stack will get crowded with all of your triggers from time to time.
