To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
+1/+1 counters, always with the +1/+1 counters. Go big! Beat face! ...The original incarnation of this deck centered on Corpsejack Menace; in the perfect game, with four on the field, if you cast Increasing Savagery on Centaur Battlemaster, then you would put 208 +1/+1 counters on it!! But I've realized that, as hilarious as that would be, it is overkill and it would never happen. This deck is designed so that any creature could become the winning facebeater. Bioshift ensures that the death (or bounce) of a creature only makes another one stronger.
Weeds is a variation of Poison Kudzu 2.2, exchanging its "poison" elements (e.g. Contaminated Ground, Doom Blade) for creature boons (e.g. Aphotic Wisps, Bioshift).
Copied from PK: the fetchlands boost Vinelasher Kudzu (added Ghost Town to offer continued landfall late in the game if Vinelasher is still present). Bramblewood Paragon and Corpsejack Menace boost other creatures. Ordeal of Nylea boosts Pheres-Band Thunderhoof and Centaur Battlemaster (via Heroic -- so all of the other non-creature spells, except Dash Hopes, boost these two), and -- if the enchantment completes to drop lands -- Vinelasher. And Vampire Nighthawk offers a little lifegain while punishing fliers (or evading groundies).
Changed from PK: Disowned Ancestor adds strong early game defense, and it has the potential to become 4/8 on turn 3, via Burst of Strength and Ordeal of Nylea (which would put you at 6 lands on turn 4). Pheres-Band Tromper also gets a nice boost from Burst of Strength. Managorger Hydra gathers +1/+1 counters like crazy and doesn't rely on Bramblewood Paragon because it already has trample. I threw in Vorapede for similar reasons -- it doesn't rely on the Paragon, nor Burst of Strength as it has vigilance -- plus it essentially regenerates (repeatedly, even, via Bioshift); however, it might be better to swap it for another Archetype of Endurance, which I added for the hell of it, for the off chance of giving all the creatures hexproof. Barring that, Aphotic Wisps, Dash Hopes, Burst of Strength, and Bioshift should offer some protections. Or, heck, maybe I'll dump the Archetype for a second Managorger. Idunno; I haven't playtested this deck yet, but I think it'll be fun. ;-)
