Mana Crypt is a Proxy and is by no means essential
Jeweled Lotus can be swapped for any artifiact that is 1 or 0 costed - I added that type of card basically to get K'rikk out early and from there it is just to cycle through Bolas's Citadel - things like chromatic star etc that you can sacrificae to thin lands are great. You can ran a lot more of these types of cards than I have, but I like using the extort mechanic and a few other cards that I like such as Phage the Untouchable, False Cure etc
Disclaimer - This is still a pricey deck, but I for what K'rikk usually costs, it is "budget" - Slower plays

-Less/Cheaper Tutor's
-Cheaper alternative to Deadly Rollick
-Cheaper rock than Jeweled Lotus
-Don't Run Opposition Agent
-Strip Mine and Wasteland aren't needed, you could run Demolition Field and Ghost Quarter Instead if your play group did run land removal
