To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Tried to balance the land generation issue by adding in two more dual-colored lands, chose Hissing Quagmire for added defensive padding in mid-game.
The artifacts and Mastermind's Acquisition seem to be pulling Emrakul just fine, especially with Conduit of Ruin.
I wanted to push this version away from Scion token creating and focus more on playing efficient creatures to help build into Emrakul.
Blisterpod and Sludge Crawler are solid 1-drops for this build, and Sludge Crawler can be made as big as you can pay for to keep it relevant until Emmy gets out.
For 2-drops I wanted to make sure we could start getting into solid defensive creatures, so added Sky Scourer for flying defense, and Slaughter Drone for optional deathtouch against bigger threats early on. Eldrazi Mimic seemed like it was playing okay but didn't have enough colorless options, so I made it a point to synergize this build so he can have more interactions. The colorless synergy also helps boost Sky Scourer consistently.
That third mana drop is going to be used exclusively for either Chromatic Lantern or Fist of Suns, so I opted against adding an abundance of 3-drop creatures. Instead, I chose to replace Leyline Prowler with Catacomb Sifter; partially for colorless synergy, partially because Catacomb Sifter gives an extra blocker on top of the scry ability, which can help prevent a turn-stall late game.
I want to watch the amount of use that Fist of Suns actually is getting, because I feel like it should be doing more than it actually is and I'm afraid it might be a dead card in this particular build.
4-drop is going to try and cheat Emmy to the hand by playing either Mastermind's Acquisition, or Thran Temporal Gateway in order to play Conduit of Ruin a turn early.
After that, it should just be playing Emmy and overpowering the opponent.
I also want to watch how this deals with counters and interruptions, because that could very well cripple this whole build. Black has a lot of good protection against instants and sorceries, with green having access to a lot of creature protection and ways to deal with flyers and enchantments, so there's plenty of options without having to restructure for color. I might need to find a place in this deck to slide in a little protection, but for now that could very well be a sideboard thing.
