Into the Woods (EDH / Commander)

Everyone who's ever played a fantasy RPG has probably come across a group of people in the woods that were in some deep trouble.
Maybe the local gnolls kidnapped tiny Tim.
Maybe a nearby dwarven mine has been contaminating the water supply.
Maybe without 10 boar hides, they won't make it through the winter.
We've all seen these guys, but this deck allows you to BECOME these guys.

It's actually a lot cooler than it sounds.

A mono-green human tribe centered not so much around a particular gameplan and more about a certain desire to get a lot of bumbling fantasy hillbillies on the table as quickly as possible, "Into the Woods" is by no metric a competitive deck, but has a variety of amazing features:

• Venturing into the dungeon
• Humans (and a half-human)
• the Woods
• Humans in the Woods
• Werewolves
• A Great Aurora, because it's really funny
• Token Halfling

Play this deck mainly for the stories, like lumberjacks backhanding dragons to death (Woodcutter's Grit), your inbred yokels shooting Zur the Enchanter out of the sky and devouring his body for 3 life (Fell the Pheasant) or you suddenly finding yourself playing a werewolf tribal by accident. The dungeon mechanic gives this deck a slight unpredictable element and adds another layer of amusing struggle. Relish the moments you worked hard for - by hitting the opposition surprisingly hard with your army of cultists, skinchangers, scavengers and other good ol' country folk.
A deck for hard workers, flavorjudges and people who enjoy a slight eldritch horror element to their idyllic forest range.
