To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Eternal Artisan Battle Deck Box (Legacy Rareless, Silverblack, Peasant Plus).
Banned: Cards I don't have in any decks and have no plans to add. These are banned. I don't want them to be a part of the format.
Watchlist: Many of these cards are in decks, but used sparingly. These are not format staples, they are only in decks that call for them and need their unique effects to function or to balance out the collection. The goal if for these cards to be represented without being ubiquitous or too broken.I am allowing Common and Uncommons that have been rebalanced in Alchemy. You may choose to use either the printed or rebalanced version. Some are powered up and some are powered down. Only the powered up version are in the list above.
Enough of the cards inspire new and interesting decks that I decided to make this change.
The full list can be seen here: https://scryfall.com/search?q=is%3Arebalanced+-settype%3Aalchemy+%28rarity%3Ac+OR+rarity%3Au%29&unique=cards&as=grid&order=nameExceptions: I have downshifted the Planeswakers from Magic's Planeswalker Deck series. They are all very expensive to cast and not particularly powerful. I feel they do a good job of rounding out planeswalker representation in the format alongside War of the Spark's cheaper planeswalkers.
I have over 110 Eternal Artisan decks built and sleeved up. They don't currently have sideboards, but that is a goal I have for them in the future. The format and the decks are not meant to be balanced, there are too many of them for that. They are great to pull out for 1v1 or to gather friends and have free play. A few years back for my birthday, I gathered around 30 friends and forced them to play my decks. I had a big whiteboard with challenges, high scores, and bounties.
I believe that diversity is fun. While some strategies call for fast mana, tutors and cantrips, I avoid building with them when I don't need to. Otherwise the collection would start to feel homogenous. I want each deck to hone in on a unique strategy and plan of attack. There are very few strategies or ways to play that aren't represented by a deck in my collection.
