--Oldies, but not necessarily goodies--

Listen. I think that old bordered white cards are the best-looking cards in magic. So I looked at cards from Alpha (1993) to Scourge (2003) and tried to come up with a functional deck. It's not competitive, but the goal is to play some awesome-looking cards and maybe win sometime with it. I have also included time shifted cards from MH1, MH2 and Time Spiral because let's be real, we need the help, and the look of the deck isn't compromised.

The Deck

This is a Cleric tribal deck, with a small lifegain subtheme. We have lots of ways to protect our stuff we have a handful of evasive creatures that, when pumped with Coat of Arms, will get in for serious damage. We don't have a lot of card draw, but we make up for it by having a lot of activated abilities (Glarecaster, Glory, Witch Hunter, Whipgrass Entangler, etc. plus our commander Atalya, Samite Master). We have some pieces to stop our opponents from attacking us, namely Windborn Muse, Crawlspace and Whipgrass Entangler. We win with Coat of Arms and evasive creatures or by dropping Test of Endurance and hoping it survives until our next turn.
