The strategy of the deck is simple and fun for me. It relies on the deck’s ability to generate a lot of mana in order to use it to cast Zhulodok, Void Gorger and spells that trigger its ability. In addition to mana generators, the deck contains many cost reducer to always cast spells.
There is also an axis in the deck around the possibility of casting spells with the flash thanks to Liberator, Urza’s Battlethopter, Shimmer Myr, Skittering Cicada or Vedalken Orrery. These cards are powerful in the pack because they can cast spells that cannot be cast in instant.
The deck contains two combos to make infinite mana and destroy all the permanents on the battlefield of my opponents (details in the combos section above).
