Deck # 5: Kylie's Revenge (EDH / Commander)

Thinking that she's just about to succeed in her plan to remove planeswalker taint and cleanse the multiverse, Dr. Kylie Moriarty is suddenly attacked by the planeswalkers. They destroy what they think is her lab, most of her clones, and would have destroyed her if she hadn't escaped with a Transport Via Plants spell.

While in her actual lab, Kylie tries to take stock as the planeswalkers demolish everything she created. She believes that, with her research ruined, she would be unable to cleanse the taint and the multiverse will fall to the distortions planeswalking is causing.

It is in this emotionally vulnerable state that Tiamat herself appears to Dr. Moriarty, fulfilling the warning from earlier about the coming of evil, and tells her that she will enable her to restore her work, if she will give her an army of dragons so Tiamat can overthrow her own enemy - the alleged Ur-Dragon.
Tiamat bases her claim to power in that she has enslaved and Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund. Seeing no other way, and being seduced by Tiamat's promises and her power to seize control of all the dragon clones Kylie has created, Doctor Moriarty is reinspired. She attempts to make a dragon army.

The entire army is enthralled to Tiamat, including Dr. Moriarty. Only the Archetype of Endurance is able to resist Tiamat. As he watches the others, including Kylie, engaging in uncouth behaviors she would never do or authorize in the mad quest to complete the Maze's End Tiamat intends to win, the Archetype calls to Pharika, God of Affliction, to beseech her to intervene before evil wins completely.

Let the new day be born. Rebirth for Dr. Moriarty's project and a new throne for Tiamat. Kylie's Revenge is ready at last.

It is at this point that Pharika finally intervenes, appearing to Kylie in a dream to warn her of the truth about Tiamat's intentions and what she's unleased . . .
