Inspired from watching some people play casual EDH, I decided to build some commander decks with silver-bordered commanders. The aim of this is to build around the commander and their abilities or theme and just have fun in a playgroup (specifically ones okay with this type of casualness).

Baron Von Count cares only about the numeral values in the cards you play. This deck is packed with multiple cards to get the Baron's ability to trigger. Letting you countdown the clock until you can destroy one of your opponents.

Of the four silver-bordered commanders I've built, Baron Von Count is easily the most competitive. The low CMC for the commander, allows you to get him out early and start the countdown right away. With some of the spells having numerous numeral values on them and at cheap CMCs, it is easy to reach zero and start it all over again.

The biggest drawback to this deck is card draw. You need spells to cast to trigger Baron Von Count. Remedies in this deck for consistent card draw include cards like Erebos, God of the Dead, Phyrexian Arena, and Greed. But those solutions come at the cost of life, so you'll have to be careful on managing your life total, because the moment you get close to destroying another player or actually do so, you become the biggest target at the table.
