Rules
After drafting 8 cards each, players start at 5 life, infinite mana, and all of their cards in their hand, but they can't play more than one spell from their hand each turn.

You can play a card from your hand on your turn and your opponent's; spells played from the graveyard don't count towards your limit. You don't start with a library or lose from decking, but you still have a draw step in case cards enter your library.

The player with Impatient Iguana goes first.

Drafting
In increasing order of complexity, here's 4 ways to distribute the cards:

  • Deal out 8 cards to each player, this works surprisingly well (there are 12870 possible ways that the hands could deal out)
  • Grid draft 4 grids of 2x2 cards.
  • Lay all the cards face down, then deal the top card face up. The drafter can take the face up card or the top card of the deck and the other player gets the unchosen card. Repeat 8 times.
  • Fortune's Favor draft 4 times.
