After the banning of Eye of Ugin I think Tron has to move toward more than 20% threats, to make up for the loss in inevitability.
Sanctum of Ugin is a Card I tried out, but dismissed quickly, because it failed at providing a threat when it was needed.
Even in Control matchups there is almost never time to search out a Land before deploying the last possible trigger for it.
Most of the time, after it was used, the Threat it provided was not necessary, or simply came too late.
I was also experimenting with a Version that runs similarly to the emergent Eldrazi Tron, just with a more pronounced High End.
Sadly, having a strong Tron-fueled Endgame diametrically opposes the more aggressive strategy of the smaller Eldrazi.
Wurmcoil can't be replaced by Reality Smasher and seldomly are the "smaller" threats able to keep up with the actual aggro decks.
For those reasons I'm pitting my hopes on Tron staying very traditional, but shifting to a greater number of Turn 3-4 Threats.
I'm very happy with having 3 Big Eldrazi, since the immediate impact is surprisingly strong, especially since they can be played out for 10 instead of effectively 17 Mana and a Land search.
New Kozilek might be a possible addition as a 1-2 of instead of some of the Wraths and/or Newlamog.
Eventually I want to move towards a more versatile form of Disruption. PyClsm is good, but KozRet outclasses it in every matchup except for the ones where true speed actually matters (Burn creature draws, Affinity, Merfolk).
Sadly, in those Matchups, often the only card that can net a win is PyClsm. So I'm retaining 4 in the MD and SB.
With the coming Thopter/Sword combo decks, Wrath effects are a must, since the matchup very much revolves around sticking a Planeswalker, and ours are very susceptible to flying artifact creatures.
Triggering a KozRet with Newlamog wins games immediately from almost any position.
If at all possible I want to eventually play 4 of each maindeck, in order to remove the need for inevitability in Midrange/Control Matchups.
Control decks will be somewhat strong with the return of Ancestral and without Eye the matchups are actually losable.
In those matchups Ugin and Newlamog provide a strong basis for either winning on their own, or restricting the opponent's options enough to win with another threat later.
Thought-Knot Seer (TKS) and Swagtusk are flexible enough to be used in a variety of matchups and provide the kind of resilient Threat that is needed in Midrange/Control matchups.
For this reason they currently occupy 4 of my 7 SB flex-slots, along with Sudden Shock and Dismember.
If the Meta shifts to a point where single target removal is stronger against fast decks, turning to a white splash instead of red, for Path and Timely Reinforcements, as well as Ghostly Prison might be worthwhile.
