So this is a wild one and personally my new favorite deck. So a little TL:DR - I was largely known for running all kinds of Eldrazi decks when they were released and I was the King of that shit. I also had a friend who ran slivers and it was one of the few decks I had trouble with after a year of tweaking my 5 color Eldrazi deck. Today I found out that Hivestone exists and we threw this deck together from scratch, I hope you guys enjoy !!!
So...where to start? lol. This deck has quite a few different strategies packed into it so I will start with the easier ones.
First off, you have Kami of Bamboo Groves to stack lands and he can be paired with Scute Swarm ( and Parallel Lives) to get some crazy token advantage
I put Scute Swarm in here for another reason as well, its just a problem to deal with if you get it early enough and in this deck it is even more of an issue because of Auspicious Starrix being able to pull cards to the battlefield. Pair that with Demonic Tutor and Ugin and you can pull so much bs out of this deck.
Also speaking of Parallel Lives, we have Brood Monitor which we pair with Eldrazi Displacer to reach infinite creatures/mana - It's whack af lol I love my token decks
Now for our big boys - the nightmare swarm masters. I REALLY love the potential this deck has if you can pair your infinite mana combo with Spawnsire of Ulamog. If you get this with your infinite mana combo soon enough, the game will just be a complete wipe because for 20 mana you can bring out your entire sideboard (not to mention we have All is Dust that will just kill the entire board...except for colorless creatures) Did I mention Ghostflame Sliver and Hivestone protect everything we have here? KEK
I COULD get into the sideboard, but really all you need to know is that the game has pretty much ended if you have gotten this far. Huge baddies that cant be countered, they blow up your board, Some have protection while others force you to sacrifice or draw. It's nasty, so very nasty.
And I had to save the Slivers for last because they are just crazy lol. While we dont use many slivers in this deck, I run them because as it turns out, they are pretty fun support cards to run outside of sliver decks if you can get that hivestone. They just buff up EVERYTHING and besides, people tend to shit themself when they run into Eldrazi and Slivers in the same deck.
Overall, this deck is NOT budget, but that's not about to stop me from building it LOL cause I can't wait to see people walk away from my table again like the old days xD
I will eventually get around to building a more budget/non-casual version of this as I wish to play this outside of casual as well so stay tuned
