Arcades defense 2.0 (EDH / Commander)

1. Play Creatures with defender to get a strong boardstate. Those are usually pretty cheap and hard to kill.
2. Use your Commander to get carddraw for playing your creatures. Also your Creatures are dangerous now since they deal combat damage based on toughness.
3. Use your Card draw and Tutors to get the enchantments you need to attack. Assault Formation, High Alert and Rolling Stones allow your Defenders to Attack.

Utilise your Buffs and Combat tricks to punch through your opponents defense.

Alternative win condition:

1. Get infinite Mana with Axebane Guardian and High Alert on the board. You need to have at least 5 Creatures with defender on the board so you'll get to keep 1 Mana in your pool. In case you are asked what color just say 1 trilion White and 1 trilion Blue.
2. Use Coral Colony or Doorkeeper + High Alert to mill all your opponents out.

There are several tactics to break through your opponents blockers.

1. Fell the mighty and dusk // dawn provider efficient boardwipes that will leave your creatures mostly untouched since most are Power 0
2. The Ring tempting you makes a creature unblockable by creatures with higher Power. Since your best attackers have Power = 0 good luck with blocking those.
3. Creatures like tetsuko umezawa, the eleventh doctor, and suspicious bookcase can make your creatures unblockable
4. Enchantments giving trample or treat a creatures combat damage like it's not been blocked.

Removal, counterspells and a few combattricks round of this deck to Deal with threats or problematisch spells.
