Baroque is a format where all cards costing more then 1 usd on scryfall is banned.
When i looked through edhrecs recommendations for abiding grace i was a little dissapointed that most of the cards were not 1 drops leading me to look into what i could get away with in baroque. This all turned into some sort of vengevine deck without vengevine where abiding grace is the only splash. It turns out Red has many potent 1 drops just due to how that colors cards are designed, stuff like Bomat Courier, Dragonmaster Outcast, Reinforced Ronin and Monastarey Swiftspear are just some examples of things not in this deck that will perform way outside the scope of a 1 mana creature. Meanwhile green has some interesting cards that self sacrifice, i have never even seen Tinder Wall before but it giving you more mana then you invest into it is atleast interesting and due to baroque having less lands to choose from i'd figure i would try it out.
The Devastating Dreams is boardwipe, land destruction and discard outlet in one and can be cast of a Tinder Wall alone coming back from Abiding Grace, no idea if that is good but i figured in a world where you have a returning mana dork and the opponent does not you might win with land destruction.
I might wanna include a real mana dork for abiding grace or maybe Llanowar Mentor for the Laughs but first i gotta find a spot i can get some friends together to try out these decks i have been building.
