How does a caring nurturer turn into the biggest threat on the battlefield? Send a few elves out after her and watch her grow! 🧝

>Why Mondrak?

• More mana = more spells = more fun! As long as you can protect Marwyn, it's fun watching her grow, and the bigger she is, the more spells you can play!
• Elves are cheap and readily available making an elf tribal deck easy on the wallet!
  • You can build a Marwyn deck way cheaper than this one, I added a lot of bling since it was on the cheaper side.
• There are plenty of ways to ramp in this deck other than lands and Marwyn herself. There's are also countless creatures, artifacts, and ways to untap Marwyn to help ramp your way to victory!
• There are a lot less lands in this deck than others I play with; I usually have anywhere from 32-38. However, with this deck, it's not necessary. After 50+ games and scenarios, I've never ever hurt for mana.
• You're not a blue deck, therefore, no need to worry about countering or controlling other players... sit back, relax, and build up your board like a good Timmy.

>What to tutor for…

• There's not much of a need for fetch lands in this deck unless you want to add one or two to reset the top of the deck to synergize with Oracle of Mul Daya.
• There's no point to list what to search for each tutor, search for what you need at that moment and time in the same, but there are a few neat things to tutor for...
• Finale of Devastation ➜ Craterhoof Behemoth
• Green Sun's Zenith ➜ Dryad Arbor
  • You can literally cast this turn one without paying the X cost and search for Dryad Arbor because it's typically a 0 mana cost "land" creature.
• Worldly Tutor ➜ Dryad Arbor if you have Oracle of Mul Daya on the battlefield so that you can play it right away, otherwise, search for what you need at that point in the game
  • Craterhoof Behemoth is always your win con if it's not already in your hand.

>Win Cons…

• Build your board as large as it can get first
• Once Marwyn becomes big enough, she can usually KO an opponent via commander damage
• Swing in with creatures when possible
• If possible, tutor or Finale of Devastation for the Craterhoof Behemoth and swing
  • Most creatures will be over 10 power which should be enough to either wipe the board or KO your opponents

  • Beef up Marwyn while giving protection from all colors except green
  • This deck is already powerful enough without it
