To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
One of my oldest decks, and my most powerful by miles.
The goal is obliterate your opponent with a collection of amazing dragons that you play by means of the Fist of Suns. Key to this process is the Myojin of Life's Web, which comes into play with a counter when played with the fist. Removing the counter allows you to unleash a veritable storm of death.
The manabase is insanely important so half the deck is built around it. Pentad prisms, ingots, fertile grounds and birds will help with the colours in a pinch, which the tribe elders will provide some early game defense, as well as a free land on your opponent's turn end. Granted that the draw grants you enough tools to make a full prism and a fist you can begin to cast the bigger monsters.
Depending on your hand you can either bring the dragons in one by one, or by means of the Myojin. If you were lucky and were able to get Karthuus and a few dragons you could go for a fell sweep. Otherwise you might have drawn Conflux which will allow you to search for just about any card and build a sweet hand to drop.
Some cards build into natural combos. In particular Intet can provide more pressure as you can use his ability to keep the dragons coming. Furthermore, the Scion of the Ur Dragon, the Kamigawa Dragons and Teneb's ability can create some insane legend rule conflicts that will allow for the effect to hit your opponents twice. Very helpful in multiplayer.
Nicol Bolas in there for flair. Because he's a multicoloured dragon-style planeswalker. His more sinister purpose to break a stalemate. Bolas is castable with the fist. His appearance alone will inspire fear and rash actions against you, providing a possible opening.
A blast to play, it works best in multiplayer where it can suddenly turn the tables as long as you kept a low profile. In 1v1, it is broken or won based on your draw. Luck is key factor.
