If you came here looking for a hint at what the strategy for this deck might be, or a sliver of what was going through my head when I created this, you might as well turn right back around and leave.
I pulled most of these cards in a draft and then filched the rest off a friend, then somehow pulled together what you see here today (stonks).
It's also probably worth mentioning that this is my first deck ever :D
By this point, I feel like this list deserves a little more explanation than the mysterious relic of the deck that it was copied from.
Basically, this deck used to be a draft deck - and my friend's first deck ever - but we're working on retooling it into a fully fledged and capable Commander deck, on a budget (my specialty)!
STRATEGY:
This is quite a multifaceted deck. The basic shell is a flying tribal go-wide strategy with an Esper control infusion. A marvelous brew, capable of slowly beating down the rest of the table while keeping a finger on each opponent's board.
The second two parts of this deck are +1/+1 counters and graveyard shenanigans. The +1/+1 counter theme is enabled by Raffine, and supported by a few cards scattered throughout the deck as well as the ones you see in the "+1/+1 Counters" section. The reanimation subtheme is signatory of every good Esper deck, and we've got a nice little chunk of the deck dedicated to that. It will allow us to recur valuable creatures, recover from board wipes, and just be a general nuisance all around.
Pirate Jace is in here because he's, uh... a good card. We've got a little bit of New Capenna flavor in here for some added spice too. Overall this is just a fun deck that should be able to hold its own in a more experienced and expensive casual pod while giving the player a good time.
