The whole focus of the deck is to deck/mill your opponent(s). In a 1 on 1, it will be a lot easier to do, but in a game with 4 players, you might get targeted first. Hence why I put in crawlspace and propaganda. Just to add a little bit of protection. I ended up putting Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger in just for the exile the top 20 cards of someone's library. Just in case if anyone has a way to bring back their graveyard, like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth.

Now in a 1 on 1, there is one card in particular that you might wanna swap out, mindcrank is a great card but unless your opponent is playing a deck that uses life as one of the main resources, you probably won't get much uses out of it. The only time you really want to attack in this deck is for the attack triggers on Fleet Swallower and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. That's if you even do combat damage too. I'd probably swap it out for either Drowned Secrets or Psychic Corrosion.

Its definitely not the perfect mill deck but it's going to be a lot of fun, (for you at least). If you have any suggestions for cards to swap, let me know. Thank you.

Update: maddening cacophony from Zendikar Rising is going to replace tunnel vision, because it is just strictly better. Ruin crab is replacing memory Erosion

Update (April,11): resculpt from Strixhaven is going to replace reality shift. They're basically the same card with the addition of exiling an artifact with the down side of creating a 4/4 token. I personally think it is better than reality shift.

Update (May, 29): fractured sanity from modern horizons 2 is going to replace startled awake // persistent nightmare. startled awake // persistent nightmare is a great card because it can be played and recurred to play again, I am switching it out for fractured sanity because in a multi-player game this will hit all of your opponents where as the other card only hits one person. Fractured sanity can also be cycled if not needed and it still mills when cycled. This spell is also one mana cheaper but its 3 blue.

Update (September, 14): Drown in Dreams from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Commander decks is going to replace Mass Appeal. Mass Appeal is a good card for this deck because this deck has mostly humans in it. But, its big downfall is that its a sorcery and its only purpose is card draw and its 3 mana. Drown in Dreams similar in the way that it is 3 mana, plus it has X. This card will be more mana, but it can do more if you control your commander, either way its not a dead card. this card can mill and/or draw cards which ever option you need at the moment, it is also an instant which can help in a tight position.

Update (May, 6): Cut your Losses from Streets of New Capenna is going to replace Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger. I've been playing this deck for a while and i never can seem to get Ulamog out, while he is a card, Cut your losses is another way to basically win on the spot and is not 10 mana. I'm thinking about putting High Tide in this deck, But we'll see.

Update (Aug 31): swapped an island for Rivendell, just makes sense.
