To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
This deck is built around the concept of disruption, efficient removal, and powerful threats. It aims to control the game by stripping opponents' hands of key cards while deploying powerful creatures.
You start by using cards like Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek to disrupt your opponent's game plan and remove their important cards. Efficient removal spells like Fatal Push and Lightning Bolt help control the board and eliminate threats.
Creatures like Tarmogoyf, Snapcaster Mage, Dark Confidant, and Death's Shadow are powerful threats that can quickly close out the game. Tarmogoyf grows in size based on the number of card types in all graveyards, Snapcaster Mage allows you to reuse powerful instants and sorceries from your graveyard, Dark Confidant provides card advantage, and Death's Shadow becomes larger as your life total decreases.
Mishra's Bauble helps you filter your draws and provides additional card advantage when combined with cards like Tarmogoyf.
The land base consists of fetch lands and shock lands, which allow you to efficiently search for the necessary colors of mana while also enabling synergy with Death's Shadow.
Remember, the power level of a deck can vary depending on the meta and format you're playing in, so it's essential to consider the specific environment you'll be playing in and adjust accordingly.
