To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
"Scrambled Eggs"
*Gave this to a friend to play who hadn't played in years, and never EDH. She wiped the floor with us.
Throw a bunch of big dinos onto the board quickly, piss them off, and watch the havoc!
This deck is about tutoring and cheating onto the board as many dinos and other creatures as possible, as suddenly as possbile, while maintaining a mid-range level of board control, that includes wipes, and ways to survive and recover from them.
All of the egg tribals trigger Atla Palani, Nest Tender to cheat creatures onto the board, several of the lands cycle and you can tutor for any color needed to control mana ramp as closely as possible, including some of the cycles (if I understand land rules correctly)
Create a stampede and trample everything, blasting everyone at low levels of damage to wipe any small fry they have and trigger all of your enrage abilities like Polyraptor or Apex Altisaur.
Meant to be played as if you're a randomly triggered pve event during someone else's battle, and do your best to mess with everyone at once. Makes the game go a lot faster and with more adrenaline! Even better if you make dino sounds. This deck has high synergy and more or less plays itself as long as you follow a few rules:
1) Opening hand should secure your mana base; everything else is gravy
2) Relax
3) Play Palani whenever you need an egg, no rush.
4) Play defensively until Palani is triggered
5) Dino like crazyPlays beautifully.
Keen-Eared Sentry was given to me by the above-mentioned friend and saved my life from an Aetherflux Reservoir at a party when I tried to gobble up its owner's creatures with Apex Altisaur. The dino was not so lucky.
