This is my most powerful deck - not CEDH level as we don't play that in my playgroup, but just below it. A big part of the power level comes from the fact that people don't bring answers for planeswalkers, which allows you to run wild. Even when the entire table tries to attack down my planewalkers, there are always more. For whatever reason, I always seem to win one of 3 ways.
Really, it's the same way, planeswalker ultimates, but it is 3 different planeswalkers that seem to break the backs of opponents. 1. Ral Zarek ultimates and gets you a few extra turns of planeswalker activations, 2. Tamiyo ultimates and usually allows you to play a significant portion of your deck, or 3. Ugin ultimates and spams a bunch of planeswalkers that your opponents can't deal with. While cards like Doubling Season and Deepskate Glow guarantee you hit ultimates, I've had just as many games where you get there over time with cards like Chain Veil and Oath of Teferi. The deck just seems to have this inevitability that looms over the table. The planeswalkers were specifically chosen (with the exception of a couple utility choices like 3 mana Narset and Ashiok) because of the power level of their ultimates. While I am open to replacing them as new cards are printed, you don't see many new planeswalkers designed with game-ending ultimates. Because of that, I expect very little change to this deck over time.
If you own a pile of planeswalkers and want to live the superfriends dream, this is your deck.
