To play your deck at an official ("DCI-sanctioned") tournament you need a deck registration sheet. Here you can download such a sheet pre-filled with the cards in this deck!
Please note: This is not an official DCI service. So please always make extra sure that the sheet contains all the cards in your deck and fulfils all DCI requirements. If you notice anything wrong, please let us know. DCI is a trademark of of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy's real name is E-Boy Jankins.
1) Your goal is to get Basalt Monolith out as quickly as possible. If you have both Basalt Monolith and E-Boy Jankins on the battlefield, you get an infinitely large amount of colorless mana.
2) Ideally, you will want to get Gemstone Array, Prismite, or Signpost Scarecrow on the battlefield as well. With their activated abilities, your infinitely large amount of colorless mana is now an infinitely large amount of blue and green mana. Using that blue and green mana, use E-Boy Jankins' ability to loot through your entire deck, putting Thassa's Oracle on the battlefield. With the Thassa's Oracle trigger on the stack, hold priority and use E-Boy Jankins' ability again to loot through your deck until you find Leveler. Leveler will resolve, exiling your library, and you will win from the Thassa's Oracle trigger resolving.
3) Don't have either of those three color fixing artifacts? Not to worry! If you have E-Boy Jankins on the battlefield with Basalt Monolith, one of the dummy thicc Draw X cards listed above, and enough blue mana sources on the field to cast those spells for "X = My Library," draw your entire deck, use more of your infinite colorless mana to cast anything that will give you two more blue mana (does not have to be one of the three artifact fixers above at this point -- it could be your Arcane Signet, Simic Signet, Talisman of Curiosity, Chromatic Lantern, Darksteel Ingot, and in most cases Fellwar Stone will also work) to cast Thassa's Oracle from hand.
4) Don't have any Draw X spells or any of the three main mana fixers in your hand, but you still have Basalt Monolith? Planar Bridge, Planar Portal, Ring of Three Wishes, Fabricate, Reshape, Whir of Invention, and Tezzeret the Seeker (for -X = 2 or 4) will help you get one of your mana fixers. Mystical Tutor is just there to help get Reshape, Fabricate, or Whir of Invention as needed, but can also be used to find a Draw X or a counterspell. Don't have Basalt Monolith in hand? These artifact tutors can help find Basalt Monolith first and foremost as well, with Tezzeret the Seeker's -X = 3. If you do, you can then use your mana dorks and mana rocks to provide the colored mana needed to activate E-Boy Jankins' ability to loot through your deck just enough to get either Prismite or Signpost Scarecrow. If you pull that off, see Step 2.
5) Don't have any of the above? Well, aside from you being a dingus for keeping a bad hand, you have plenty of mana dorks and mana rocks that you will likely draw into in order to get the mana you need to loot through your deck. With enough momentum, you'll at least have the creatures on the board, so you have a board state that can keep you safe and secure until you draw a good card from the deck.
6) When comboing off, if you happen to run into a pesky artifact or enchantment that will ruin the Thassa's Oracle trigger and keep it from resolving properly, we have Caustic Caterpillar, Viridian Zealot, and Sylvok Replica, which can be put onto the battlefield from the E-Boy Jankins ability (and can't be countered, because they are just being put onto the battlefield as opposed to being cast) and sacrificed immediately to blow up those pesky stax cards. As long as you meet the mana requirements to do so, which you should, because... you know... you got E-Boy Jankins on the battlefield.
7) Is some nutcase trying to ruin your fun with counterspells while going through Step 3? Well, E-Boy Jankins has some counterspells of his own! The favorite of the bunch is Spell Burst, because in addition to making X equal whatever you want with Basalt Monolith, you can also say you throw in an extra 3 mana to buy it back, meaning you just keep getting this spell back as long as it resolves! You can also counter spells with E-Boy Jankins' ability by searching up Draining Whelk, Frilled Mystic, and Mystic Snake and putting them onto the battlefield while the target spell you want to counter is on the stack, since they all have Enter The Battlefield triggers (i.e. you do not need to cast them for their abilities to trigger or resolve) and they are all non-Human creatures that can be tutored up by E-Boy Jankins. But, should you REALLY need the big guns, Last Word counters the counters but cannot be countered, so you kinda just own the stack at that point.
8) Is there a non-artifact, non-enchantment that you weren't able to counter which will prevent you from comboing off? Well -- I don't actually have a good answer for that in this deck. Any ideas, feel free to PM me. All donations of knowledge are accepted in the Library of E-Boy Jankins.
EXTRA) There are some pretty obvious upgrades to this deck -- Force of Will, Force of Negation, Pact of Negation, Fierce Guardianship, Tropical Island, the fetch lands, and potentially Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Mox Opal, and Mox Amber just to name a few. I added a "sideboard section" which is just a list of cards that I think would be really good for E-Boy Jankins if you want to spend the extra money to make him top-tier cEDH. If you have them, by all means use them, but E-Boy Jankins is dummy broke and can't afford to play cEDH. Feel free to tweak the deck as needed -- I know I will be as I find better pieces for the deck.
